I am a Senior Terrestrial Ecologist with the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Framework and I specialize in developing biodiversity indicators for land-use planning applications. Currently, I am focused on development of habitat models for vocalizing amphibians within Alberta.
The Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute has developed a monitoring program for vocalizing amphibians within Alberta. Using autonomous recording units, I developed species habitat models and created spatial predictions for four species.
Alberta Environment and Parks, in partnership with the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute, developed a stream connectivity indicator to help inform the environmental planning of Alberta’s watersheds.
Alberta Environment and Protected Areas, in partnership with the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute (ABMI), developed the Native Cover indicator to support biodiversity conservation and land-use management.
